[slim] Help - 6.5.2 has killed my SB3
Downloaded 6.5.2 and did the firmware update (to 81 I think) on the player, and now my SB will not play any music that is within ITunes. I can browse or search albums in there, but when I scroll to the first album track, I get the Now Playing message but no music. After about 10 seconds the player switched itself into standby. It will play albums in c:\...My Music, but nothing from within ITunes, which is where 99% of my music is. I tried last nights nightly and have also rolled back to 6.5.1 (but didnt get a firmware prompt on the player???). Can anyone help? [slim] Any UK Users using SB3 wireless with Sky Broadband router?
Hi, I need to change ISP and am thinking of moving to Sky. The thing is you have to take their wireless router. My SB3 works flawlessly with my DLink G604T and so I am worried about changing router. Can anyone put my mind to rest? Hi, After a full month of waiting my SB3 arrived today. Its absolutley beautiful but i cant get it to connect to my network At first i thought it was the WEP security. So i disabled this on my wirless router, but it still will not connect. I am getting signal strength of 80% constant (the Sb3 is only 15 feet from my router) so i know that this is ok. My router is a Dlink G604 T Can anyone help? hi. manages to sort this problem out by updating the firmware on my router. the sb connected first time to the network once i had done this. however - when the sb asked me where my music was - i selected the pc, pressed the right key and was faced with Connecting to Slimserver Slim server is running on my pc, but the SB came back with Cannot connect to slim server Do i need to update the firmware on the SB or something?? Hi - can i ask what is hapenning with SB3 shipments to UK suppliers? Its now the 16th November and most of the major re -sellers have no stock or are awaiting stock.
