i mean, if it was the router, dont you think it would of taken something else out? like everything thats connected to it? Im thinking it was the SB cause its the only thing thats dead. The router function perfectlyits on a battery backup and it was uptime was over a few months before i started resetting it to troubleshoot my squeezebox. Now searching the forums in detail, im finding alot of other people with this problem...the NIC just died... Wired in my router right now i have 2 PCs (music server and Gaming machine) and a WD Media player. None of which are damaged in anyway. [slim] Squeezebox v3 showing Ethernet appears to be disconnected even though it is
Anyone have this issue with their Squeezebox? I have the 3rd version, with the wifi. I use normal ethernet cable to cut down on the stuttering. However, i came home to listen to some music and noticed my Squeezebox screen wasnt on. So i reset the box, went to set it up and it keeps saying my ethernet is disconnected. Its plugged in, it lights up the port on my router, but it never lets me connect via wired network. Im able to connect to it wifi, np...but wifi isnt really great when you stream a big flac file.
