Thanks for the suggestion but I tried that. The only firewall I have is the default Windows firewall. I turned that off and 6.5.2 still hangs on install. I found an old 6.2.2 exe and installed that and it seems to be working again. Does anyone have a version between 6.2.2 and 6.5.2? Or should I just not worry about the upgrade and sit tight with a working 6.2.2? [slim] SlimServer v6.5.2 Hangs on Install
Finally decided to "upgrade" slimserver after over 1.5 years of trouble-free operation with my SB3. Windows XP with no other issues at all. SlimServer v6.5.2 hangs my system on final install waiting screen. Requires cold reboot. When brought back up, the browser can't find slimserver. First time I just installed on top of the old one. Since that resulted in hanging, I uninstalled slimserver and started the install again. Same problem, hangs on final install screen. Is there an older version that I can try to install? I never had any issues at all until 6.5.2. [slim] Digital EQ with iTunes/Slimserver?
Before I buy an outboard EQ like the Behringer, I was wondering if there is a way to EQ with SW in the digital domain. Since I am using iTunes, Apple Lossless and Slimserver I'm not aware of any plugin EQ SW that can be used. Not even sure if the crummy iTunes EQ will work with the SB3 setup. Are all of us iTunes users imprisoned in the Apple propriatary vortex when it comes to plugins? [slim] SB2 Power Supply Compatible with SB3?
Are the power supplies for the SB2 and SB3 interchangable? ie. voltage, connector, current draw, etc.? [slim] Good Wireless 802.11g Router for SB3?
I currently have a Linksys b-based router. However, I really want to upgrade to a g-based router before installing the SB3 and Slimserver.
