I've seen similar problems with ogg files. As it turned out, for me,
it was a files ripped and encoded with an old version of the ogg
encoder. Reripping them (or as quick-fix to just re-encode the files)
fixed the problem for me.

Yeah. I am considering doing that as well. I have the squeezeslave
handling music in the office, and that works far better than
softsqueeze ever did being run in headless mode.

[slim] Squeezeslave and Slimserver 6.5

2006-10-02 Thread Lars Chr. Hausmann
Hi,

After upgrading Slimserver to 6.5 (latest stable) squeezeslave no
longer works. It starts but nothing happens. I can see, that the
slimserver sees it, because it shows up in the web interface, but
adding music to it does not trigger any music being played.

Does any body see similar behavior?

I am running Slimserver and softsqueeze on Debian stable and unstable
both has the same behaveior.

Best regards,

Lars Chr.

I'd like to add my compliments as well. Just got my SB2. Play nicely
:-)

I do, however, have problems getting it to join my WLAN towards my AP
which is madwifi driver running in Master mode. It doesnt want to
establish a connection :-/

Any body seen anything similar ?
