[slim] Connection reset by remote host
Hi, I have been using these devices for years and this is a new one. All was well. I stream my library through itunes and various streaming services. Got a new ISP and now it cuts out every minute or two and says "Connection reset by remote host" Not sure where to start on this problem. It does streaming and with my library which is on same computer as LMS. It is all connected through wireless. Only difference is that this ISP has much faster speeds. Thanks if you have a idea where to start on this. [slim] Devices only will connect to wireless from certain modems
Hello, I have had no problems connecting my device to wireless in the past. I have a number of squeezebox radios I have been using for many years. I had to change Internet providers. They sent a new modem. None of my devices would connect to the new wireless network from the new modem. I have done factory resets, power cycles, etc. Same with the new modem. Simply won't connect. I borrow and try other modems and they connect. At this point, it is going to be expensive and a lot of hassle to completely change Internet providers in hopes of getting a modem that will work with my devices. And it is a roll of the dice. Can you think of anything else I can do to try fix this connectivity problem with the new wireless network? I am unable to run cable for a variety of reasons. Thanks. Re: [slim] Playing music on schedule (not alarm)
Well, my problems are nearly solved. Here is my last wish. Can you program the alarm so that when the alarm goes off it shows "Now Playing" rather than the alarm intrface? Since I am not using this as a true alarm, I would like to be able to see my regular screen with media info and pictures, etc. LovelyBrook's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70083 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112255 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

I upgraded to 7.9.3. All is well and now I have the 240 option. The 0 option is helpful. Thanks everyone. I can't get my slider to go past 90 minutes. When I type in 240, it defaults back to 90. But I am testing the option that said "0 minutes duration" will play indefinitely. If you have a tip how to find the 240 minute option that would be great. Maybe there is another way to adjust it. [slim] Playing music on schedule (not alarm)
Apologies, I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere but this forum is so huge, I can't find it with a search. Can't find it with Google search either. My LMS system if finally almost PERFECT! Love it. I have 7 various types of players all over. Now I would like to schedule certain types of music to play automatically when I wake, eat dinner, etc. I foresee setting up something like an alarm, but that plays for a few hours on schedule. Sometimes I sync groups, sometimes not. That can be figured out. Alarms don't work because you loose the interface with a big "Sleep" or "Shutoff" choice on the screen and they don't play for longer than 90 minutes it seems. Maybe there is a way to tweak this. If others have mastered this functionality, would you share? Maybe there is a plugin? Thank you in advance.
