Re: [slim] Updating Squeezebox duet controller firmware
wolfzell;355864 Wrote: Had a similar problem. Controller did not want to update, always replied with the failed installation error. I installed the new 7.2.1 from the nightlies yesterday. Automatic updates are enabled, still there has been no jive firmware in the firmware directory even after rebooting server (running Win XP) and the controller. Now I downloaded jive.version and jive_7.2_r3191.bin from the link above, put them into the firmware directory and while I am writing this, the controller does it's update. bye Wolfgang Which directory did you put the downloaded bin file to? \sys\firmware or \lib\firmware? I'm not able to copy anything into \sys\firmware. Copying into \lib\firmware, I'm still faced with same failure. -- Loy Squeezebox Duet SqueezeCenter: 7.0.1 Perl Version: 5.8.8 i386-freebsd-64int MySQL Version: 5.0.33 SlimNAS: 1.0.1 FreeNAS: 0.686.4 (revision 3374) Loy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18620 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=54449 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Squeezebox Duet Access Internet Radio using USB 3.5G modem
managed to get it working. My HSDPA modem connection is shared through my wireless router to All the other connections. One critical step is to set static IP on the rest of the PCs, squeezebox and NAS connected on the router (whether its wireless or wired) and also the gateway should be set to the IP(192.168.0.1 is normally auto set in WinXP after ICS is triggered) of the host computer(HSDPA modem connected PC). Re: [slim] When Duet controller can support Chinese Characters ??
When using Simhei fonts, it appear fine during the Now playing but was totally distorted in the Artist or Album listing. Totally distorted meaning fuzzy char. But when wangTFF version was used, alot of blank spacing appear with correct chinese char display in all display modes. Looks like there isn't any good fix yet. -- Loy Loy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18620 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44890 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
