Re: [slim] Can't connect to Internet Radio

2009-01-04 Thread SPotter

I have same problem with Squeezebox 2 - since I moved from Montreal to
Truro
!!??
Failed to Parse is an issue with the web page content - not DNS
My guess is Logitech changed something without testing for
compatability with older products.
I'll dig further, later.

[slim] Re: Clock no longer displayed in standby

2005-12-08 Thread SPotter

I got the same problem.

Just acquired my new SB2 a few weeks ago. It was displaying clock in
power off state. Now the screen is blank on Power off.

I've tried removing the power plug and putting it back;
I've tried running through set up.
I've tried changing 'screensaver when off'.
I've tried ensuring that auto upgrade was enabled in case there's a bug
fix. (It reports 28).

I didn't have to press the brightness button when I first got the
machine. It sat quietly displaying the date and time.

Maybe it got an auto upgrade that now 'dims' after a timeout -
i.e that it didn't do before ???

I'll try pressing the brightness button when I get home tonight.
(Does the brightness button work on power off state?).

What is the explanation for this change in behaviour?
