Just ran another test today and I am results are fine. Everything seems all ok now. One thing I did notice that there was a new wireless network nearby that kept coming dropping and then appearing again and I think this did have an effect on my SB for some reason, never had this problem before. I have not listened to my flac collection for a while but since upgrading to 7.4.1 I keep getting rebuffering issues, it happens on each track I listen to and its getting on my nerves. Is there a fix to this? right just had a look under that area but acording to the computer no files were open however I just rememberd that I was listening to this particular track just before I started using Foobar and thats why, changed tracks on the SB and it worked a treat :-) I have another question but which is the best way to scan various artists/complation albums as for each track the artist it different and Foobar will get confused. I have just scanned half of my collection which talk about an hour, went to update all tags and then Foobar tells me it could not update one tag due to a sharing voilation and because of this I think non of the other tracks will be or has been updated AR!! [slim] My Music Library Problem
Guys, since I have upgraded Squeezecentre few weeks back my library seems to be different and I am unsure why. When browsing thorough artists via the SB it comes up with every artist that I have in my library. This seems all very well but I sure that this did not do this before and it seperated which artists were in the 'Various Artists' section and 'Artists'. Is there anyway of changing this back? if anybody understands what I am talking about. Went to try and listen to last.fm through my SB however it was saying that my account was not authorised although I have done it weeks ago. Anybody else have this problem? I had to re-authorise my last.fm account with Squeezenetwork. defragged the hard drive thats it and changed the MFT as reccommended by Diskeeper for my external hard drive. Im just about to replaygain all my files using Foobar2000 however should I select all the files and select them all together and add replaygain tag data as albums. The reason why I am asking is that I thought about doing a few albums at a time and add replaygain tags to each album which I suppose is the same way but seems to be a bit quicker. [slim] Storing CDs after Ripping
Ive almost ripped all of my CDs and want to store all my CDs safely. What do people think of storing them in plastic boxes and putting them in the loft? My only reservation about this is the cold winters and hot summers (if we have them here in the UK) could damage them. After having installed SC 7.1, it has now made it alot easier to use Last.fm through your SB however I have a quick question. [slim] Two Different Music Collections - Itunes and Flac, I do have a Question about them!
I have my own collection which I am currently ripping to flac of all my CDs. I also have another collection of music that was with Itunes. Is there anyway of keeping these two collections seperate? as I dont want to mix them. [slim] Squeezecentre Problem
I have just got a new computer and thought I did everything correct setting up my SB3 to link up with Squeezecentre. However it works sortof. When my computer loads up into windows it will just keep on saying starting Squeezecentre and not actually connect and then my wireless connection starts on the computer to browse the internet and still it carries on saying squeezecentre connecting. I then close down squeezecentre and reopen it where it connects fine. I dont want to have to do this everytime I load up windows, it worked fine on my old computer. What have I done wrong? [slim] Foobar Question
Right, I have nearly done ripping my music (until I get a bigger HD). Gonna use Foobar to do Replaygain however when I load up Foobar and scan for Flac files, it comes up with all my files however on some of the files the duration is stated just by '?'. What is this? How do I rectify it? Sort of tried it last night, logged into Squeezenetwork however when doing so It messes my Squeezecentre up and Squeezecentre says that there is no player found. Do Squeezenetwork and Squeezecentre work indipendantly from each other?
