Hi, I've bought the playback feature with a purpose to play my favorite streams of mysqueezebox.com directly on my ipad. But when I am starting Squeezepad I can't see my Ipad on the list of devices. Earlier this feature was working on my old pad but now after I've changed my ipad to a newer one I can't use this feature anymore, maybe I'm doing something wrong? Do I need a server installed for using playback on my Ipad now? Hi Michael, thank you for your help but also after factory reset Squeezebox is very slow :( 1. No, connect still works, but it takes a lot of time. Sometimes 30 sec, sometimes a minute or two. And my squeezebox is very slow now. If I turn it off, "to the time screensaver" in squeezenetwork, it lasts about 10-15 seconds till it I can turn it on again. Also RSS-Feeds stop very often. 2. Not all radio stations, some of them. local files work fine as I can see it.Maybe Squeezenetwork is just slow today. Hi, I have some troubles with my squeezebox. After I tried some up/downgrading today (Ver28 to 15 and 15 to 28, I tried to downgrade to 26) my squeezebox is making troubles. I've also tried a reset (with 1 after disconnecting , rewriting xilinx) The troubles are: 1.connecting to squeezenetwork takes over 2 minutes... 2. Some radio stations are not working properly, they reconnect all the time although they're running perfect on my computer. Is there a possibility to make full reset, so that the squeezebox has firmware 26, and no data, like when I've turned it on the first time. Or is there another possibility for me? Hi, sorry maybe a very stupid question but what may be the reason why this radio mms://nashe.e-se.ru/nashe1/ isn't working on squeezenetwork or slimserver anymore although: 1. it is still working in Windows media player (of course same link) 2. some days ago it was working on squeezenetwork (yesterday I upgrade to firmware 28 and used slimserver the first time but I think it is not the reason for this, isnt it?) 3. it a stereo (128kb) stream, so the BBC problem doesn't match. Ok, but sorry for a dumb question how is it possible without bridging? I'm using bridging for strengthening the signal in the house and without it the range of the wlannetwork would be more limited, oh do I understand sth. wrong? [slim] Wireless signal strength Problems
Hi first of all my situation: I have a wireless netgear wgr 614 router, and two wireless access points (both netgear 602) one in my room (where also the router and the squeezebox3 stands) and one in the room below. access points are working in the bridging mode. channel router:11 channel access points: 6. So Squeezebox connects but the signal strength is only between 5 and 20%. (sometimes falls to 0) I can also connect to squeezenetwork but after 20-30 minutes it disconnects for a minute, then it connects again. The squeezebox is only 2-3 steps away from router and access point, it is in the same room, there are no obstacles between them. Also a wireless telephone exists in my room, it may disturb the signal, maybe I should change the channel.Am I using wrong channels for router and access points and if yes, what channel should I use? And the main Question:How can I improve the signal strength? Hi, I'm a big Internet radio Fan, and I would like to hear Internet Radio on my hifi, Could please answer some questions about squeezebox? 1. Can I hear internet radio stations with squeezebox without having turned on the Computer? (of course I have wireless lan) 2. Which Internet Radio formats does Squeezebox 2/3 support beside mp3? MMS/Asx? Ogg Vorbis? Real Audio? Are they all working without turning on the PC only with hifi and plugs? 3. Does Squeezebox 2/3 support russian/cyrillic fonts? 4. How difficult is Squeezebox to install? If I bought it, plugged it in into my hifi can I already play Internet Radio or do I have stillto install sth.?
