I was having the same problem, mostly with compilation albums, but with a few that were not compilations, as well. I tried enabling the COMPILATION tag on the problematic compilation ablums, but that didn't help -- and even if it had helped, it wouldn't have helped with the non-compilations that were exhibiting the problem. Then I found that rescanning with the MusicMagic plugin disabled eliminated the problem. Re-enabling MusicMagic and rescanning brings it back again. I began having this same problem after upgrading to 6.3.0, and in my case it appears to be related to the data coming in from MusicIP Server, rather than from SlimServer's own scan. If I do a full rescan with "Don't use MusicMagic" the duplicate albums are gone. If, on the other hand, I point SlimServer's music library at an empty folder, and enable MusicMagic, I get all of the duplicates, which completely eliminates SlimServer's own scan from the experiment.
