...sorry to have not replied to this in so long - time and technical
difficulties. Now that my slim and I have returned to form: I still
have this problem. I can navigate the LAstFM plugin on either the WWW
interface or my sb. I connect to a 'station' and I get a message about
"Waiting for LastFM track info..." but then I end up with a URL.

For example, I just clicked on my 'Station: globaltags/ambient' link
and something ambient plays ~5 seconds later (good start). The screen
(both WWW and sb) indicate that it's waiting for track details and then
I get:

"http://192.168.1.104:9000/Default/songinfo.html?item=31550&player=00%3A04%3A20%3A05%3A98%3A24";

I can't tell what's actually playing. Am I missing something?

I have last night's 6.5, Ubuntu. BTW, I really appreciate seeing the
buffer filling messages as it loads...I wish the non-LastFM channels
through slimserver would provide that.

First, thank you for the info. Your instinct matches my conclusion.

However, do you think it's possible to "clean up" the partition
table on the drive without removing the data? I've got an old
copy of PM here somewhere, but I'd never used it. I think I'll
try the stuff at http://www.sysresccd.org.

Thanks!
