Re: [slim] [ANNOUNCE] SqueezeCommander 0.9 for Android
Just purchased SqueezeCommander in day 2 of having an Android device (the HTC Incredible). It's really a beautiful controller, well done! Works nice and quick with a large (20k+ songs) library and my Squeezeboxes. With SqueezeCommander and iPeng, it's really beyond me why anyone would buy a Squeezebox Controller... -- hardhead hardhead's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=376 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69352 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

I had my router sitting on top of the squeezebox (it seemed like there was enough clearance for ventilation) and the router was also very hot. So, I've moved my router to an entirely different shelf. No dropouts yet, I'll report back in the next day and let you know if I'm still having good results. -- hardhead hardhead's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=376 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48145 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

I just wanted to chime in and say I have the same problem, as described by others here in the thread (both the random idle restarting and song restarting)... -- hardhead hardhead's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=376 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48145 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

[slim] duplication (Apple dot-files)
I recently upgraded to the 6.1.1 release running on my Linux box. When I browse through my music library from my mac, I create a bunch of dot files with resource information (._1 Song Name.aif). In previous releases of the slimserver these files have never shown up in the library--but they are now. This is cluttering up my play all playlist and doubling the number of my song count. Is there a way to set the Slimserver to ignore these cluttery files?
