Re: [slim] Chinese SB3?
Thanks both for this. I should have been more specific. I ripped my CDs into Flac using EAC & by doing so, the Chinese characters are not converted into a readable format in SB3. Thinking a bit more, it might be more a EAC/Flac issue rather than a Slimserver one. Any help on fixing this will be appreciated as well. I have been using an older version of Slimserver 6.2.1. I have a SB3 & using Window XP OS (home verison). [slim] Chinese SB3?
Anyone has information on getting SB3 to work with Chinese titles or if there is a Chinese & English Slimserver version? TIA. -- ipy ipy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3367 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35285 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

Files will be be ignored if it does not meet this criteria. -- ipy ipy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3367 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29417 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Robocopy help, please
I experienced a similar thing after Sydney daylight saving ie: tried to do a backup & the "older" (source) was overwriting newer (destination) files. To overcome this I set my switches to the following: robocopy "M:\my music" "J:\my music" /E /MAXAGE:1 seems to be working so far -- ipy ipy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3367 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29417 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

Finally managed to detect an error in a flac file using this test. As mentioned this does not occur often. At least now I know it's not the SlimServer 6.2.1 that is causing the failure to play the track. -- ipy ipy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3367 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32968 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Music ripped question?
I 'm using a SlimDevice wireless SB3 setup which reads from my Seagate 300GB HD which I have approx. 700 CDs ripped. From time to time, it stops reading in middle of a song &/or it will not skip to the next song ie: stuck at the end of last played song. What I discovered is if I re-ripped the same track back to the HD, it will play again. Any ideas or same experience? Has my 1 year old HD reached its prime? Is this a software thingie? I using SlimServer 6.2.1 which is stable & works for me & I realised there are newer versions which I 'm hesitant to update at this time. I do my ripping using EAC to FLAC which works well. -- ipy ipy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3367 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32968 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
