[slim] Slimserver won't recognize music on drive
I have two external hardrives that I keep all of my music files on. I use a shortcut between the two but I can't seem to get slimserver to notice one of the drives. It will see all of the music on my I: drive but won't see the music through the shortcut on the J: drive. I have tried it the opposite way with the J: being my primary drive that slimeserver will look at first. This way slimsever notices no music at all. I am running XP Service pack 2 and using FLAC files. Any help would be great as this is driving me crazy! Thanks and happy turkey day. [slim] Slimserver can't find music on my drives
I have Slimserver set up to use my (J:) drive as my main detection drive and there is a shortcut to the (I:) drive. For some reason I can not get Slimsever to recognize either drive. The (H:) drive is for my Ipod but doesn't show up when not plugged in. Is this maybe the answer? Any help would be appreciated. I would love to listen to my musc again. [slim] FLAC to MP3
Hello, I know that this might seem like sacrelidge to some of you but now that I have converted our CD collection to FLAC my wife has some concerns with portablity. She understands the conversion and likes the Squeezebox but wants our collecton to be more portable (ie. move to the car, use when working out, bring to work). I have suggested an Ipod for the ease of use. Now I need to now if there is anyway I can convert these FLAC files to MP3 easily? Any help with this would be appreciated.
