OK, forgive ny ignorance but i just read throught the whole thread to try to understand why i need this app and how it differs from say, Squeezer or Logitech's Squeezebox Android player apps that connect directly with the Logitech server and include a player as well. I still don't have an answer. Could someone please enlighten me? Also, I installed both the above player apps as well as Squeezeplayr and can get a directory listing of all my media from the server but nothing happens when i press play. [slim] Are playlists cached?

to be more clear, i have a mp3 file with a few dozen songs in it. rather than split each song out, i just want to index each song via a playlist, if possible, something like a cue file does for burning cds. is this possible? [slim] No titiles in my internet radio playlist
I created the following .pls playlist and put it in my playlist directory. when i click in the playlist name (via browse playlist), two entries show up, one with the name of "listen" and the other with the url. i have titles defined for each entry but neither are displayed. this is driving me nuts. i've tried several combinations but can't get the name to display. what's up with this? How do i add additional Radioio streams to the Radioio plugin? I noticed that AOL Radio via the Winamp directory is streaming some XM radio stations using the uvox protocol (whatever that is). I found what appears to be a bug. [slim] Slimserver not starting
Slimserver is not starting upon my underpowered Pentium Pro WinXP pro system. Could it be that i don;t have enough memory (only 96mb) although i have a large page file. when i try to start it it that it's starting up but never actually starts.
