I've used the wmp plugin below to get round DRM before now. It captures wmp output directly to WAV file, which it does direct from file quite fast. The resulting WAVs were 700-900kbps so everything seems to be preserved, except for the DRM bit. So if wmp can play it, you can capture for slimserver use.
