[slim] Squeezebox power adapter
I lost power and it appears to have blown my squeezebox power adapter. It is a 5 volt 2 amp adapter. Must I find an adatper with those precise specs, or is there some leeway? While I can match the specs if I buy online, it would be more convenient to buy something at a bricks and mortar store. [slim] Scanning Bug?
I'm running SlimServer Version: 6.5.2 - 11764 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252. It appears that if artist=composer, the artist is not listed when browsing by artist. The albums can be browsed. Especially strange is that this occurs despite the fact that my behavior settings specify that only the artist tag is to be listed under artists (i.e., none of the options composer, conductor, or band/orchestra are checked). [slim] Displaying lyrics with linebreaks in the songinfo window
I would like to display lyrics with linebreaks in the songinfo window. That issue was addressed in another thread last October (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28160) and the solution was to make a simple modification to songinfo.html. However, in the Slimserver directory there are 8 files with that name, 2 of which appear to be associated with alternatives to the default interface skin. (The subdirectory defining the default skin does not include a file songinfo.html.) If using the default skin, is it necessary to change all 6 versions of songinfo.html? I am using version 6.5.0 of slimserver. [slim] Possible to browse by custom tag field?
Can slimserver be customized to browse by tag fields other than title, artist, album and genre? One user made this suggestion in an April 2005 posting. I'm wondering if version 6.2 makes it possible. If not, is it possible to do using the windows front-end program Moose?
