[slim] Re: iTunes 7.2
It is easier than downgrading itunes... just upgrade to slimserver 6.5.1. After loggign a bug,(http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4468) Chris told me to try 6.5.1 which works like a charm. [slim] Re: iTunes 7.2
... Any music I've added to my itunes libary since 7.0.2 update will not show up in the server. Basically it is either not refreshing the music library properly to incorporate any changes, or itunes has indeed done something different. I am also running OSX 10.4.8, SD 6.5 -- slayaz -- In a land of sheep, even a toothless wolf is king slayaz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=211 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29338 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

I've just installed on win 200, and every time i try and play a track, or at the end of the track, the player stops and i get a message on screen that says... "Procedure entry point 18 not located in dynamic link library DDRAW.DLL" If i cancel this error (3 times) it starts again. [slim] Re: "Problem: Can't open file for:"
I haven't had the problem again, and it seemed to be an issue with the file encoding. Allofmp3 were upgrading their site at that point so may have been that, but I have had no problems since. I know use 6.2.2 with no issues, and it definitely re-scans much quicker. -- slayaz -- In a land of sheep, even a toothless wolf is king slayaz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=211 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22252 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Re: "Problem: Can't open file for:"
thanks for that link, it did shed some light. It might a bug that has crept back into 6.2.2 as it was definitely OK in 6.2.1. Maybe I'll downgrade.. Although didn't i need 6.2.2 for Pandora Oh well. -- slayaz -- In a land of sheep, even a toothless wolf is king slayaz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=211 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22252 ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

ceejay Wrote: > Is this music DRM'ed by any chance (downloaded?) - if so it won't work. > If not, what file type is it? > > Ceejay Thanks for the reply. The music is downloaded, but not from a site which uses any kind of DRM. (allofmp3.com) I have downloaded quite a lot in the past but this seems to be anissue since installing 6.2.2. As i said earlier, I had album which I added to itunes last weekend, which wouldn't play and gave me the same error. I tried that again yesterday expecting it not to work, but it did. Could it be a library re-scan issue? The files are AAC 128bit. All my other music is fine it is just the most recently added stuff. [slim] cannot get library to match iTunes
I am running a slimserver 6.1.1. on a mac G5 running 10.4.2. No matter what i do, (i.e. setting up the music folders manually or using iTunes) I cannot get my iTunes Library to match my Slimserver library. iTunes tells me it has: 477 albums, 6965 tracks and 298 artists slimserver tells me it has: 363 albums with 1353 songs by 1397 artists So WTF?? Am i missing the point? How can they be THAT different? Has Slimserver invented a thousand artists? I have rescanned the server about 58 million times, and every time i do it, it gives me a different number of albums. please help. I apologise if this has been covered before, i did search but found nothing that covered it.; Cheers -- slayaz -- In a land of sheep, even a toothless wolf is king ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
