[slim] Sirus not displaying info
I have a SB Duet running 7.4.1. When playing Sirius radio none of the album/artist/song information is displaying. This is on the Duet Controller, as well as within the Squeezebox Server web interface and on a softsqueeze installation. Re: [slim] is Slacker working for YOU/Anyone?
Well, this problem is still occuring after the update. This is really annoying. I cancelled Sirius because Slacker is just as goood for little or no money but now I may have to sign backup for Sirius since Slacker is now useless on my Squeezebox. -- slydog75 slydog75's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17619 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=64442 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Slacker account keeps reverting
In an attempt to fix an ongoing issue with Slacker I created a second account and logged in with it a couple times. It did seem to fix the issue, so now I want to try switching back to my original account (I've put lots of time into that account and don't want to lose it). I log into SqueezeNetwork and change the account, but then everytime SqueezeCenter restarts it changes the Slacker account back to the one I don't want. Where is it getting this information and how can I stop it? -- slydog75 slydog75's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17619 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=64502 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[slim] is Slacker working for YOU/Anyone?
is anyone succesfully using Slacker? I'm having this issue where, when I'm listening to Slacker, it will play for a few songs, then it will stop and the Duet remote will say that you've logged in somewhere else, push play to continue. Pushing play again does start another song, but once it happens the first time, it will happen after every song from there on out. It is VERY annoying and making Slacker useless on the Squeezebox. This apparently a long running issue (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42791) but I can't seem to find a fix. What I'm wondering is if this is just me and a few other 'lucky' people or if EVERYONE is having this issue. Is anyone out there successfully using Slacker right now on their Squeezebox? -- slydog75 slydog75's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17619 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=64442 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] Slacker Error Message
Has this issue been fixed? I'm having it now. Slacker was working great before. Now after only a few songs I get the 'you have logged in somewhere else' message which is not true. It's incredibly annoying and making slacker completely useless over Squeezebox. For me hitting play again does work, but only for a song or two when it happens again. [slim] What the amazon plug-in should really do
When I first saw Amazon I thought 'what a great idea! I can buy and download amazon mp3s right from my SBD Controller! But no, all it does is add the actual CD to your shopping cart so you can buy it later from a computer and have it shipped to you. Talk about missing the boat guys! being able to buy the mp3 version of the album right from the remote and have it automatically download to a predetermined watched folder would be truly awesome. However, it's probably best that it doesn't work like this as I could see myself spending way to much money on impulse buys. -- slydog75 slydog75's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17619 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57023 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

I'm having a very similar issue, let me know if you find a solution. Are you running more than one router/switch? I have a main router then a secondary router that my server is plugged into (set up as a switch only). I think this may be where the problem is. Re: [slim] SqueezeCenter 7.01 fails to start - Vista
Daren, I was having the same problem after I reinstalled trying to fix another issue. I found that you have to uninstall squeezecenter (using add/remove) then manually delete the C:\Program Files\Squeezecenter folder AND the C:\Programdata\squeezecenter folder. If you don't delete teh C:\Programdata\squeezecenter folder this is the problem that you get. Now if I could just get my Duet reciever to actually connect to my vista box I'd be happy. -- slydog75 slydog75's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17619 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47829 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Cannot connect to SqueezeCenter on Vista
I recieved my Duet this past weekend and spent most of it trying to get it set up properly. Logitech/SlimDevices has tried to hard to automate this process. There should be some advanced/manual set up options for networks that are maybe not exactly what they're expecting, but I digress. I was able to get everything working, including connecting to SqueezeNetwork, except that I cannot connect to SqueezeCenter which is running on my Vista Media Center. I can see it listed on the duet controller but when I try to connect to it it just times out. Within the squeezecenter software it says my player was not found. I tried reinstalling a few times with no change. I have Windows Firewall turned off. I can ping the reciever's IP address from the Vista machine. And again, I can connect to SqueezeNetwork just fine. Any ideas? -- slydog75 slydog75's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17619 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47876 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
