I don't know if anyone ever clicks on the "Logitech Squeezebox" text in

but it is an old dead link!

Not a big deal, just an observation!

That's one, but I just checked my kindle and it's called Squeeze
Commander. On the kindle I also have Orange Squeeze loaded and clicking
on the first song presents an option to play this song or play all
songs.
Play all songs is not an option on the android. There is a setting in
Preferences for Default Play Mode - Prompt / Play Now / Play Next / Add
to Playlist. If I select "Play Now' (I had previously set on Prompt)
songs now play in sequence.

Re: [slim] Play other songs in album or directory - does it work?

I does not work for me using Orange Squeeze on my android. The setting
works fine for Squeezebox Touch, Squeezebox Boom, Squeezebox Radio,
Squeezelite on piCoreplayer.
I do not have Don't Stop the Music enabled.

I haven't checked in a while, but I think that it works on the other
android app - what's it called, Squeeze Commander?

When I play an album using the Orange Squeeze app, I press the corner
pull down on the album name and select play, and then the album plays
from track 1. If I skip to another track, the album will continue to
play from that track on as well.

Re: [slim] advice on music file storage

2016-10-28 Thread stereoptic

I would suggest that you buy an external drive and copy all of your
music over to it as soon as possible. You can then change LMS to point
to your external drive.
If you are having problems booting up, you don't want to wait for the
day that it won't boot up!
I would strongly suggest you get another external drive and copy your
files to that one as well; every library should have a back up.

I like the suggestion above to replace your Hard drive with a solid
state drive (no moving parts!), however, the process can be a little
tricky as it involves cracking open the mac mini and replacing the
drive. Detailed instructions are available elsewhere (youtube, apple,
there is a thread here somewhere also).

External drives are fairly inexpensive now, installation is quite easy,
and after you copy your library you will have peace of mind.

What would be an example of listing the albumname, the sort album name ,

I'm not very familiar with the logs, so I was wondering if there is a
thread here (I couldn't find it with a search) that explains how to
search the logs to determine when LMS has ben used, particularly from

access my library when I am on the road (only from my PC), but I would
like to verify that I am the only one connecting [paranoid]. Thanks!

I did have it password protected at one them, but not now. I don't have

user ID and password each time I tuned the squeezebox (or Boom or

Is there a way to password protecdt access via remote connections and
