Re: [slim] Play other songs in album or directory - does it work?
I does not work for me using Orange Squeeze on my android. The setting works fine for Squeezebox Touch, Squeezebox Boom, Squeezebox Radio, Squeezelite on piCoreplayer. I do not have Don't Stop the Music enabled. I haven't checked in a while, but I think that it works on the other android app - what's it called, Squeeze Commander? When I play an album using the Orange Squeeze app, I press the corner pull down on the album name and select play, and then the album plays from track 1. If I skip to another track, the album will continue to play from that track on as well. stereoptic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53162 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106595 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] advice on music file storage
I would suggest that you buy an external drive and copy all of your music over to it as soon as possible. You can then change LMS to point to your external drive. If you are having problems booting up, you don't want to wait for the day that it won't boot up! I would strongly suggest you get another external drive and copy your files to that one as well; every library should have a back up. I like the suggestion above to replace your Hard drive with a solid state drive (no moving parts!), however, the process can be a little tricky as it involves cracking open the mac mini and replacing the drive. Detailed instructions are available elsewhere (youtube, apple, there is a thread here somewhere also). External drives are fairly inexpensive now, installation is quite easy, and after you copy your library you will have peace of mind. stereoptic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53162 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106349 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
