Hi,

No, it is still music that belongs to my history and fits into my flow.
I just wonder why the plugin is so repetitive while for example the API
explorer on the deezer developers page provides a different track list
with each request.

Re: [slim] Deezer Smart Radio - what's your experience?

2017-03-19 Thread th80

Hi mherger.
I wonder if the deezer plugin already makes use of the flow api
(http://developers.deezer.com/api/user/flow).

Because I heavily use flow in the morning and on weekends. But I
recognize often the same order of songs. Even when pausing a song and
restart flow, I get the same song B after song A like on the day before.
It looks like squeezeNetwork caches the songs over days (as an enduser I
just have this feeling).

I believe that also because the mobile app and the api explorer does not
behave like that. They are not that repetitive.

For me the experience with deezer flow of the plugin is much worse than
through the app and the simulations via api explorer.

Could you please investigate a bit?

Many thanks :-)
Thomas

Hi,

My question is completely off-topic, but how did you create the cover
grid views of played songs? Is it a separate plugin?

Thanks,
Thomas

Re: [slim] [ANNOUNCE] SqueezeCommander 0.9 for Android

2011-05-14 Thread th80

Uuh, I love the new version! Design is great and usability improved a
lot. Now I don't have to start in the root menu all the time.

One question: what happens during sync process on application start?

Thank you flattermann.

Yes, you need a VPN service to get it work. I'm using BlackVPN.

[slim] Pandora via BlackVPN in Europe

2010-08-05 Thread th80

Hi All,

I subscribed to BlackVPN, so I'm able to listen to Pandora Radio when
I'm connected to my VPN. This works on the browser or iPod/iPhone like
a charm.

Now I'd like to listen to Pandora on my Squeezebox Classic here in
Germany too. So I went to the Plugins tab on server preferences and
enabled the Pandora v3.0 Plugin. But after restarting I don't see this
app anywhere on my Squeezebox. But the plugin is listed under active
Plugins on the server preferences.

Does Squeezeserver block such plugins that are not supposed to work in
users regions? Or did I miss something?

Re: [slim] Pandora via BlackVPN in Europe

2010-08-05 Thread th80

Hi,

I found the problem by myself. Even if I enable the pandora plugin in
the server software, the pandora app must also be enabled in
mysqueezebox.

Now I'm able to listen to Pandora Radio on my european Squeezebox.
Wonderful!

Re: [slim] Split album

2009-11-22 Thread th80

I have this issue too and I hate it a lot!

I used the new MusicBrainz Picard Version for Tagging. Also checking
the tags of issued albums with mp3tag don't show anything weired.

The funny thing is: rescanning the album several times always show
different songs seperated from the original album.

This was never a problem prior 7.4.

I HATE THIS!

Re: [slim] iPeng Application 1.0 now on the App Store

2009-09-27 Thread th80

Hi,
The ipeng app is definitely worth its money. But I realised today that
the cover art thumbnails on album level (browsing artists - albums) are
not correct. If I go directly to ipeng themed squeezecenter via safari
then the right album cover is displayed. So at least SqueezeCenter has
the right thumbs for the albums cached.

Could it be that ipeng app has its own cache? I rebuilt my complete
squeezecenter database yesterday and maybe now some ipeng cached thumbs
are pulled by different albums.

How could I fix this in case there is a cache problem on ipeng app?
