[slim] Squeezebox v3 randomly reboots and breaks music
Hi, I have a SB3 randomly rebooting while playing audio. I've tried to run it over PowerLine ethernet but the issue remains: After a while playing a stream of audio, the player reboots and after it starts, it displays a VU meter but no sound at all. Another symptom is skipping chunks of audio out of FLAC + cuesheet, as if the FLAC file is corrupt. Tested the FLAC and it is ok, in fact re-playing the song will almost always return in playback without issue. Any suggestions on what could be and steps to fix? [slim] IR Debug not working
Hi there, Are you able to use The player.ir item on debug mode? (on Squeezecenter > Advanced > Logging) I'm trying to setup a new .IR file for a remote here at home and I don't know why the player.ir (formelly --d_ir) isn't working at all. I send IR signals from the remote and nothing gets logged or sent from the machine. IR Blaster plugin seems to be able to see the unkown IR beam but after a quick look on the IR Blaster plugin I've had the impression it uses other calls to achieve its tricks. Overlooking the plug-in I had the impression that by default, the plug-in will use the Slimdevices IR controller itself when using a specific menu item, is this impression correct? Hi there, I'm trying to get my SB3 as a transceiver to control a XMBC or a mythtv sort of video controler, eliminating the need to plug a ugly looking device in my living room. I've seen some promising features on the xPL and IR Blaster plug-ins but I was wondering if there is something ready for use. Any tip? I know this will be a pathetic request, but is it possible to tag a track to no be added to my Last.fm scrobbler? Gentlemen, I'm having a problem with my squeezebox in here. From time to time my squeezebox disconnects from the slimserver. Symptoms are generally: - reset current stream, what means that it starts playing the MP3, or CUE defined track from point 0. - dark screen (means invisible to server with no display active) - no ping to squeezebox from server machine (windows xp sp2). The quick workaround seems to be pinging the SB3! (weird) My current setup is running WPA2 AES, static IPs for both SB3 and XP, access point is a Billion 7404VGO WiFI/VOIP/ADSL2+ Router and Squeezebox firmware is version 81. Dominic, I posted a comment on your bug. I have the same issue and it's starting to be quite anoying. I had been recomending SB for a lot of people but I'm starting to give up. The SlimServer is growing bigger and bigger but basic functions like PROPER CUE support still a BIG PROBLEM. It seem that there is no Q&A at all. the problem is worse. After going "sleep" the squeezebox can't connect to the slimserver. [slim] Can't connect after sleep
Folks, I've just bought a SB3 and I've noticed that despite the amazing sound quality and simplicity there are some bugs that need fix. One of them is quite anoying. After my SB3 go sleeps it fail to reconnect to the SlimServer. It says it failed connect but when I connect to SqueezeNetwork and signoff it manages to connect to the SlimServer again. Is anyone having also this problem?
