[slim] Need help!! Album art gone...
Good morning. I've been working on this problem for a while and am at a loss. I've had my Duet for a while now. Have had everything set up and my album art was showing fine on the remote. Suddenly it disappeared. I've tried everything I can think of to get it back, but have not had any luck. It shows in SqueezeCenter but not on the remote. I want it back on the remote!! Can someone give me some thoughts or suggestions on what to do on this. Just for some background, I'm running SqueezeCenter on an HP MediaSmart Home Server. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [slim] Duet not showing cover art
Good evening. I've had my Duet for awhile now. Recently it has stopped showing cover art when using the remote. I've tried everything I can think of, but still no cover art. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do to get my cover art back? [slim] Adding Sirius in SqueezeCenter
Good morning. I have SqueezeCenter 7.0.1 installed. According to the release notes it says that it has support for Sirius radio. I'm not seeing Sirius on my controller or in SqueezeCenter anywhere. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get Sirius added to this so I can listen to it through my Duet. I am a current subscriber, however, I haven't updated to the $2.99 per month premium account yet. Does this have anything to do with it? Good afternoon. My controller keeps telling me that there is an update available, but everytime I click on begin update it seems to start then it just reboots. What can I do... Can't even use the controller as it keeps wanting the update. [slim] Controller doesn't see receiver
Good morning. Everything has been working great with my Duet until this morning. I had a firmware update to my controller which went fine. My receiver has a pink light on and my controller is connected to my network, however the controller doesn't see the receiver. Any thoughts. Should I just hold in the button on the receiver and set it up again? [slim] Need some help on this one...Duplicates!
Good afternoon. I recently ripped two CDs using iTunes. When I have SqueezeCenter rescan for these CDs it shows two copies of them in the software!! There are not two copies where it is scanning (or anywhere on the drive for that matter) and these are the only CDs that this is happening with. I have tried to delete, rescan using Windows Media Player with the same results. I've tried using a couple of MP3 editors (one on Windows-MP3Tag and one on my Mac-MP3 Rage). I've corrected everything I can think of and still this show two copies. SOMEONE HELP!!! This is driving me insane. Any thoughts... suggestions? Good evening. I have an interesting problem. I recently ripped two new CDs that I purchased. When I place them in my Music directory and rescan it, two copies of the CDs show up in SqueezeCenter. When I remove the CDs from the directory and rescan, the information is correct. When I place them back in the directory, two copies show in SqueezeCenter. On my Duet remote, two copies of the CD show up, but only one has the album art. What's going on here? How do I only get one copy of these new CDs to display. [slim] Artists not showing right on some CDs
Good afternoon. I've got my Duet set up, everything's playing. Got my album art in order. One thing that I notice when I search by album... on some of the albums, for example the Beatles 1 it list it as various artists on the album screen on the controller. I've checked things out and I don't see any issues, but yet it still stays that way. When it goes to the now playing screen everything is fine. Any thoughts. Any suggestions on a program to use to take a look a the tags more closely. [slim] More questions as I play with my Duet
Good afternoon. Finally got my Duet up and running and am really enjoying it!! Have some questions is dig deeper into the functionality, etc. 1. Do you turn your receiver off when you aren't listening to your Duet or do you just leave it on? I'm thinking you just leave the remote on all the time and in the charger when you aren't using it to control your music. 2. I'm working to get my album art up to snuff. I ripped my music using iTunes and have it stored on my server. I'm putting album art in the music folders and calling the files folder.jpg. My question.. Do I need to do a rescan to get this to show up on the controller? 3. When I add music to my Music folder do I need to do a rescan with SqueezeCenter to get it to show up? 4. Is there anyway to show what song will be playing next when looking at the now playing screen? I'll check that out. Right now I've got it hard wired and it's working great. Listening to some Beatles right now. Now, I've got to clean up my album art and I should be good to go. I'm having the same issue. I was able to connect wired, but would love to be able to do the wireless set up. I even assigned the Squeezebox a static IP address in the TC. Nothing. I'm going to try to reset it up using wired mode and see what happens. Tried that. Didn't work. I even turned off security on my router... took the receiver near the router and tried to connect. It goes yellow, but then tells me there was a problem getting it to connect. I'm at a loss. Calling tech support. Good afternoon. I'm setting up my Duet today. I have an Apple Time Capsule (similar to an Airport Extreme). I'm using WPA2 encryption on a private network (SSID not broadcast). I have the control connected to my network. When I try to set up my receiver for wireless, it won't connect. The light goes from flashing red to solid yellow, then I get a connection error. I'm able to connect through a wired connection and the remote is working fine with a strong signal. Any thoughts? I really want to get this working wirelessly and start enjoying it but so far... no joy!!! Please help!!
