A lot of LinkStation users have upgraded to Perl 5.8.x to get the SlimServer 5.x database cache and RSS features to work (based on the understanding that they did not work with Perl 5.6.x). I guess the database cache is no longer an issue, but does the RSS ticker no longer require Perl 5.8.x? Do you recommend that LinkStation users stick with (or go back to) Perl 5.6.x?
