Re: [slim] 7.3 and Mac
I repaired permissions just before upgrading to 10.5.6. It won't harm to do so again, though I suspect it will not help. -- danco danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57082 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] 7.3 and Mac
Danco, do you Repair Disk Permissions (within Disk Utility) periodically? Might be worth a try - and certainly before/after any major software upgrade. -- mooblie Martin at 'HeadSpin' (http://www.headspin.plus.com) mooblie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15378 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57082 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] 7.3 and Mac
I was unable to cleanly update from 7.2.1 to 7.3 on my Mac with 10.5.x. I did a complete re-install and it now works fine, including automatic start on computer start-up. -- aeo12 aeo12's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10883 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57082 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] 7.3 and Mac
Thanks. But the point is that SqueezeCenter is set correctly, but is not working correctly, although it always used to work. Reinstalling might work, but everything else is ok, so I suspect the problem would not be solved that way. -- danco danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57082 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] 7.3 and Mac
hi danco, i am a new mac user, just migrate my SC from Windows to Mac. Please check if there is SqueezeCenter icon appears in 'System Preferences', if yes, please double click the icon, you will see 'automatically start', mine is 'when system boot'. Otherwise, reinstall SC. Hope it helps. -- auronthas Auronthas Tajima Power Conditioner Squeezebox 3 / Cambridge Audio 540C V2 VDL The Source (CA) / AQ Copperhead (SB3) Krell KAV-400xi Chord Carnival Silver Plus / VDL Goldwater (current) Sonus Faber Concertino Domus Supra 2.5 LoRad power cord (CA & Krell) iMac 2.4 Ghz, 4GB DDR RAM, Mac OS X 10.5.6 - SC Official 7.3.1 Version: 24372 (23 Dec) - Firmware : 121 ' A u r o n t h a s ' s B l o g ' (http://auronthas.blogspot.com) ::My Recent Tracks Played:: ' [image: http://imagegen.last.fm/itunesrecent/recenttracks/auronthas.gif] ' (http://www.last.fm/user/auronthas/?chartstyle=itunesrecent) auronthas's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12394 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57082 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
[slim] 7.3 and Mac
I have recently upgraded SqueezeCenter from 7.2 to 7.3 (and then 7.3.1) on my Mac running OS 10.5.5 (or 10.5.6). SqueezeCenter is set to start at login. But since the upgrade it fails to do so, I have to start it manually. Is there anything I can do to get it working right again? Or is it a SqueezeCenter failure? I seem to recall that some people had this issue in previous versions. -- danco danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57082 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
