This is a well known problem that, to my knowledge, has usually been
addressed by replacing the power adapter.  I have found that using the
optical input instead of coax or RCA on the SB eliminates the AM interference as well.On 10/16/05, jsutula <

[slim] AM radio interference when Squeezebox is on

When my wireless Squeezebox (original) is powered on and I am listening
to AM radio anywhere else in the house, I get interference in the AM
signal. This is something that has happened ever since I received the
Squeezebox. The interference can be described as background noise and a
blip about twice a second or so. It is very noticeable and makes
listening to AM radio difficult. Anyone else experiencing this?
(Unfortunately I don't have access to my Squeezebox2 right now so I
can't test it with that)
