Both the BBCiPlayer plugin (for squeezebox server) and the BBCRadio applet (for Touch/Radio without using squeezbox server) have just been updated to add a specific menu item for Radio 3 HD in the listen live menu. This will only work in the UK - but if you listen to Radio 3 please upgrade. Anyone who does not use my plugin/applets but is interested in listening to Radio 3 HD please try. The simplest one to install is BBCRadio for the Touch/Radio: - got to the player menu: settings, advanced, applet installer - select the BBCRadio entry and install The player should restart and the show a new menu under Internet Radio called BBC Radio which includes the Radio 3 HD stream in the listen live list. If you run Squeezebox server then go to the web interface, select the settings page and then plugins page from this. BBCiPlayer should appear as a plugin which can be installed from the recommended 3rd Party plugin list. has anyone made any progress with this? I am also getting 128kbit AAC. Hi, does anyone know if the new BBC Radio 3 HD internet broadcasts will be available on the BBC Squeezebox plugin? Currently, I am told, they are broadcasting at 320kbps. I've just tuned in and BBC iPlayer plugin has picked up a 128KB stream. It was a 320KB stream in November. A quick search says not - looks like there is now a specific Radio 3 HD stream Might be that BBC iPlayer plugin needs tweaking to pick this up. I'm sure this will be done in due course.
