My SliMP3 has been great, for years, but I think that it's died now.
Just a few weeks ago.
It still looks fine. Everything 'looks' like it's working. But no sound
is coming out of it any more.

Regarding playing audio from the PC, yes, I just went with a low-tech
splitter option, which bypassed the SliMP3 and went straigt to the
speakers.

Hi,
Could you please share your experience with your SLIMP3? Did you do the
low-tech version?
Just curious.

[slim] Can a PC's audio be directed to a SLIMP3?

2020-12-21 Thread Gingermagic

Hi All,

I've got a temporary PC set up as a TV, for some Christmas family
watching (for when we don't want to put the projector on).

For the audio, I've currently got it connected to a blutooth speaker.
However, there's a sound lag, which I assume is caused by the
bluetooth.

In the same room, there's a SLIMP3 connected to some speakers.

The low-tech solution is to add a splitter to the speakers and to have a
cable from the PC output to the speakers.

But I was wondering if there was anyway for the PC audio to be sent to
the SLIMP3 via that LAN cables that they are both connected to.

Is this possible? Or should I just do the low-tech version?

Thanks,
Damian
