Yes. The hardest part is actually to fetch the project from SVN.

[slim] Configuring the Duet receiver without the Controller

2008-05-15 Thread tfm

My Duet Controller was broken when I received it and has to be replaced.
Unfortunately, the controller is out of stock, so I have to wait a
couple of weeks before I get a new one.

So my question is: Is it possible to configure the receiver to connect
to my PC (SqueezeCenter) without the controller.

The receiver is connected to my router using a cable. The receiver gets
an IP-address. The light on the receiver is blue.

Any suggestions on how I can configure the receiver without the
controller? Is it possible to log-on to the receiver in some way?

Thanks is advance

That question gets asked and answered here daily.
Is it too much to ask you to do a little reading yourself?

2008-05-15 Thread Sike

Hi Peter

Welcome to the forums! You will get a lot of help here, but most
questions have been asked already.

Currently it is not possible to configure the reciever without the
remote.

I remember seeing a post where they were working on something. If you
are a geek there might be some kind of solution.. but i'm not quite
sure.

You're absolutely right, I did a quick search, probably in the wrong
category.

Anyways, I found exactly what I was looking for; a simple shell for the
SBR.

Really time for prebuilt squeezeplay which, if I understand what it is,
would solve this problem.
