Thanks Mark. I'll get to ripping now at 24/48. No, conventional "video DVD" audio is normally 24/48. There can be some special 24/96 discs and of course DVD-A discs are completely different, but a run-of-the-mill video DVD uses 24/48. -- Mark Lanctot "It's like, you know, a New Age religion, but with better treble response." - Jon Heal Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33069 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Dolby 2.0
Hi all, I have a Diana Krall "Live in Paris" DVD that I am about to extract using DVD Audio Extractor 4.1.1. Not sure what to set the sample rate/bitdepth. The program defaults the DVD at 48/16. Is 48/16 appropriate for Dolby 2.0 stereo? I would to match the extraction to the format that is on the DVD. -- haunyack haunyack's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9721 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33069 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
