also, what about SqueezeCenter? I guess SlimServer is not developed anymore? Should I move to SC even if I only have SB3s? You'll have to if you want to use some of the newly supported services like Rhapsody, Pandora, Slacker, SqueezeNetwork integration etc. I would prefer to stick with SS, since I spent a lot of time to learn how to install it on my Ubuntu box... Installation on Ubuntu should be easier than ever. hello All, I do not think I really understood what's behind Duet. Is it just a different way to manage the music library, moving the display from the receiver to the remote? How does the sound compare? Any improvements over dear old SB? I read on the web it's been backdoored by the NSA and checksums all your files for comparison against a list illegal rips. Any hits get reported to the RIAA used a 'stealth' protocol that can get through firewalls. The receiver is basically an SB3 with no screen, pretty much everything else is the same. I can confirm this, I tested them both last week and couldn't hear any difference, so I think the analogue circuits in the Receiver are pretty close to the SB3.
