Now that I have a great library to feed my SqueezeBox, I'd like to use computers in other parts of the house, where there are no stereo systems, to access it.
My tunes are all stored as FLAC. Can I use SlimServer to stream them to computers? I tried using the localhost:9000/stream.mp3 interface, but nothing happens (or I misunderstood the directions), but not surprising, since I'm using FLAC and not mp3. Tried it substituting FLAC for mp3, but just got a browser message asking me which program I wanted to use to open the files. Which brings me to my next question.
