Ok thanks Michael, I've downloaded the code and CPAN/buildme.sh ( nearly 1600 lines ) is running away - will the script put the binaries where they need to be ? Unfortunately no. ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

[slim] Install woes Jammy Jellyfish
Hi guys following an issue with LMS not starting due to /var/log being 100% used I decided to start afresh and replace the OS on my SBC with Jammy Jellyfish ( complete wipe and reflash ) all is cool except LMS install is giving me errors. I downloaded the latest nightly and installed with dpkg - I was told there were unmet dependencies and the install failed - I resolved these by running apt -f install. But when I checked the status of LMS with systemctl status logitechmediaserver.service I see this Code: If you're running some unsupported Linux/Unix platform, please use the buildme.sh Nov 08 15:16:32 M4V201 squeezeboxserver[13233]: script located here: Nov 08 15:16:32 M4V201 squeezeboxserver[13233]: https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver-vendor/tree/public/8.3/CPAN Nov 08 15:16:32 M4V201 squeezeboxserver[13233]: If 8.3 is outdated by the time you read this, Replace "8.3" with the major version Nov 08 15:16:32 M4V201 squeezeboxserver[13233]: You should never need to do this if you're on Windows or Mac OSX.
