Hmm, more confusing! I have updated to the latest everything! Some of the albums (my obscure ones) don't get found on amazon when using ctrl+L in MM, so I looked for alternative ways. I have found if I go to http://albumart.org and search for them I can paste them into the album art box in the left pane of MM. However, if I try to do this on an album basis it doesn't work and doesn't add the album art info to the tag. I have to go through each song and THEN I have to go and set the album art as "front cover" or whatever IN EACH SONG before it works. Then I get things mostly right but scrolling through the albums shows the wrong album cover until it comes into focus. This is bizarre and driving me nuts!!! Following up on this, I now have some problems with the album art for the music I put onto my iphone. Is there an easy way to fix this? I seem to have the "album art" of one of the podcasts I downloaded showing as the art for almost everything! Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that option. If you can live with the transcoding time when you're syncing to your iPod then that's your best bet. Thanks so much for this moley6knipe. I searched around and found, from what you had said, that Media Monkey allows me to sync what I want and transcode on the fly so I don't need to keep 2 copies. iTunes won't do anything with FLAC. You need to convert the files to something iPhone can read. May I suggest converting them to mp3? Using the LAME encoder set to V2 (190kbps VBR) sounds plenty good to me on an iPod Plenty software for converting out there eg www.dbpoweramp.com. [slim] Itunes Problem
Hi all. Sorry if this is a dopey question but I couldn't seem to find an answer anywhere else. I just got an iphone and want to put some of my music onto it. My music files are all in flac format so I am guessing this is why I am having problems. Is there an easy way to select which files I want to sync to my iphone and then allow itunes to convert them without screwing up my nicely organised collection I use on my Squeezebox?
