The user that runs LMS must be able to read the files whether they are 755 or 777 or whatever makes no odds if the user isn't in the correct group. Ubuntu can be tricky with directory permissions. Are you sure LMS has access to those new FLAC files? [slim] LMS on Ubuntu does not recognize new FLAC fules
I am running the latest version of the LMS on a current Ubuntu machine It does not recognize newer FLAC rips. But, the same directory structure works on MacOS. I removed references to iTunes to keep things simple (for now) Done a complete Library Rescan multiple times, but the newer FLAC files are not "picked up" by the server. I can add log files if necessary Thanks, Bapcha Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.3 - 1580910396 @ Thu Feb 6 04:13:10 CET 2020 Hostname: bapcha-ThinkPad-X201 Server IP Address: 192.168.1.18 Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: x86_64-linux Perl Version: 5.26.1 - x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi Audio::Scan: 0.95 IO::Socket::SSL: 2.060 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0) Total Players Recognized: 1 Library Statistics Total Tracks: 5,786 Total Albums: 429 Total Artists: 639 Total Genres: 41 Total Playing Time: 488:48:52 bapcha's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69927 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111796 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
