If you have some contributions to make, I'm sure they would be welcome! Doesnt ever seem to be able to answer my questions which I end up just asking on the forum. I noticed the search function on the forum sometimes lets me down too, just says "done" lots of times, an example is search for 'free your music' no quotes and I just get a blank page? The documentation sucks. Trying to find out how to do something specific with or to the SB or Slimserver is nearly impossible. One would think the info might be in the wiki, but that appears to be aimed at developers, not your average Joe Blow SB owner. The should be a tabbed page labeled "How To" and it should link to other pages that explain, get this, how to do things... The how to's can come from existing documentation or be contributed by owners or SD/Logitech people. It should be indexed 100 ways and searchable. Searching these forums for such info doesn't work very well. Re: [slim] Logitech Logo
Actually those are not scratches. They are a normal artifact of the injection molding process called "knit lines" and they the same on every unit. It happens when the plastic has to flow around a feature of the mold in order to form an aperture. When the material converges on the other side of the hole, it forms a seam. -- seanadams seanadams's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36881 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

Was the scratch on the plastic or the connector itself? Sounds like it might be markings from the test jig... on the connectors, it's normal; on the plastics, it's not. -=> Jim -- JimC JimC's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9428 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36881 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

Yeh I did wonder why the pic on the homepage was not updated myself, I will check mine for these scratches now. :) Mike -- stormy stormy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11910 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36881 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
