Just an update for our squeezebox friends here... We planned to go live yesterday but ran into a major hardware problem. Our next goal is tonight (fingers crossed). They play many psy-ambient tracks that you will really appreciate. @andyg: Shoutcast URLs which I stored in my favorites invalidate quite often and restoring them is a tedious job. I would suggest finding the website for your favorite stations and using their direct streaming link for your favorite. It's funny how many subgenres of Lounge music there are. The kind I like, as played by the station described in my initial post, isn't the Vegas stuff, or even lounge music at all (ironically), but almost purely instrumental, techno/new age, by the likes of Aes Dana and Ryan Farrish, whose music is more trancelike or meditative, and strangely beautiful, and contemporary. I listen to a shoutcast station called Lounging Sound Hi-Fi. It had the url http://www.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=831695filename=playlist.pls. But it suddently stopped working. This music is SO great, especially before bed. Does anbody know how to access it? Shoutcast has a number of lounge stations, so it's not easy to re-track this particular one down.
