hi Chris-- AFAIK, there will be no further updates to the 770 OS, as Nokia has moved on to supporting the N800 and now the N810. You should get the most recent OS2007 image, and then you're done looking for updates! I have rescued my 770 and am using it again for web browsing and a bit of sb controlling. Recommendations on the 770 OS I should be using? and likewise the slimserver version? that feature is only currently available in the new default skin in SqueezeCenter 7.0. I've never been satisfied with the progress bar in Nokia770 as it doesn't serve this function (and is easily broken in other contexts). [slim] Nokia 770 Skin and song scanning
I was wondering if anyone knows how to add song scanning (ie moving to a different part of the current song playing) via the nokia 770 skin. Or any browser interface, for that matter. I have seen it done via the song scanner plugin with the remote, but I don't use the remote for any of my transporter/squeezebox's.
