Re: [slim] Power Amp
Outlaw Audio has a range of mono, 5-channel and 7-channel amplifiers. They have very robust power supplies unlike many receivers. http://www.outlawaudio.com/products/index.html -- Mark Lanctot Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33644 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Power Amp
I have a siz zone Niles Audio ZR 4630 that drives wall mounted speakers in six rooms with the associated wall mounted controls. The receiver has three inputs (four if you count the included radio). Works and sounds great. Amazon has it listed for $2,050 (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002MV0V4/ref=nosim/coffeeresearch50316-20) Doug Wise [EMAIL PROTECTED]___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Power Amp
I currently run 4 sets of speakers (decent, but nothing extraordinary) as zone 2 from an Integra DTR 5.5 (generally only 2 sets of speakers are on at the same time). The speakers are powered by an old (15 years) Sony receiver. Source is mainly the SB3. I am looking to replace the old Sony. I think the best replacement is a power amp, but please weigh in if this is not correct. Secondly for my setup, what specific power amp (ie. make and model) would you recommend and what is the appox cost.
