Well i have just started using 6.5b1 - 8509, and it pretty sweet. The best Beta i have tried yet, all of my issues are resolved it seems (although i have only been using it for a day). The CUE sheet parsing is basically broken without the external scanning used in 6.5. It sucks, but some issues just aren't workable the the 6.3 design. Fix one thing, and another breaks. But I have read the change log and don't see this? Can anyone comment You would have to see the relevant bug reports for exact details. Some stuff is fixed, where possible.
