As I said I am not much of a photographer, but the front plate is very black. Here are two more attempts, one with the flash and one without. Yeah, the guy at the front counter said that the logo would be OK, but when I picked it up today it was gone. The guy who runs the machines in the back did not speak english as far as I could tell, so I doubt he understood the directions. Oh well. Very nice - but the cool etched Slim Devices logo is gone, which is the nicest thing about the faceplate. Mirror finish lettering in a brushed aluminium faceplate.
