[slim] Re: Continuing problems with 6.1
I've run latest version today with --diag and --d_plugin, and the only entry that perhaps is relevant is this (last 2 entrys in logfile): cannot connect to http daemon to get playlist at /PerlApp/Slim/Utils/Scan.pm line 483. cannot connect to http daemon to get playlist at /PerlApp/Slim/Utils/Scan.pm line 483. I think this is when I connect via softsqueeze and press play to play a stream after the web-interface has stopped responding. The playlist remains empty. I have same problem with 6.1 on OSX 10.4. After a number of hours when my Mac isn't being used (e.g. overnight or when I'm at work), Slimserver becomes inaccessible through the web browser and needs to be stopped and restarted. What debug information could I collect? -- mikerob ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

If you want to comment on an existing bug, then you can search, or type in the bug number in the box. In the case where I put up links earlier, those take you directly to the specific report. and I don't have a d_diag option on my debugging, do you mean d_server? its a command line option for startup only. slimserver.pl --diag, or slim.exe --diag. You wont find it in the server settings. -kdf ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

* glmason shaped the electrons to say... No your not alone... shaboyi! I'm having the same problems with 6.1. I have no idea what is causing it to hang... but I have to restart the server servive often. Could someone that is having this issue open up a bug - and run the server with --d_diag ? I have this problem as well. I'm running on the 6.1 version from 18/5 as it's the latest working 6.1 version. There's a thread about this, but no solution as far as I know. Peter -- mirage62 ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
