db sent to you Dan. For a compilation album of various artists the track ordering is wrong if I browse by album. Browsing by Artist, Various Artists shows the order correctly. For a multi-cd, single artist compilation the ordering is correct using either browse path. -- AndyWright AndyWright's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2241 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18645 ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

* AndyWright shaped the electrons to say... I am seeing this too with albums that have various artists. The tracks seem be be listed alphabetically by Artist name. I'm running 6.2.2 - 5325 on Linux. Andy - can you send me your slimserversql.db file? And the name of an album that is having issues? dan | at | slimdevices.com Thanks. -D -- Minds are like parachutes... they work best when open. ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

I am seeing this too with albums that have various artists. The tracks seem be be listed alphabetically by Artist name. I'm running 6.2.2 - 5325 on Linux. I can get the tracks to show in the correct order if I do the following; Under Server Settings, Behaviour, set "compilations" to "group compilation albums together". Then when I browse by Artist, Various Artists, , the tracks are in the correct order. If I browse through Albums, then the sort order is wrong. -- AndyWright AndyWright's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2241 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18645 ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

Quoting dSw <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: I am getting similar problems. I have my multi-disc albums in seperate directories, and tagged with the same "ALBUM" but different "DISCNUMBER" values. what version of the server are you running. [slim] Re: Multi-disc album and track order displayed in slimserver
I am getting similar problems. I have my multi-disc albums in seperate directories, and tagged with the same "ALBUM" but different "DISCNUMBER" values. When browsing in the web interface I get tracks displayed in the following order (for a 5-disc compilation): 5-1 4-1 3-1 2-1 1-1 5-2 4-2 3-2 2-2 1-2 ... It think this is a bug rather than a configuration setting to be honest.. and I think I read as much in another post in the tagging forum. -- dSw dSw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=362 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18645 ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
