Click start, click Run, type in 'services.msc'. Find slimserver in the list and double click on it. Set it to automatic. It should be an option when you rightclick the task bar icon. In 6.3.1 IIRC you can do this when you install, when it asks if you want to install it as a service, or you can do this later through Start - Run - services.msc. Is slim.exe running? Check services.msc, it should be shown as running and automatic. Does he use the tray icon? Is the process running?
