Then one of two things is happening -- either the files have two tags (they can have id3v1 and id3v2 tags at the same time), or SS is guessing based on folder structure and file name. I don't think it guesses genre tags though, so the two tags thing is most likely. MP3Tag can make it clear by adding a tag type column, see if TR can do that. Yes, Tagrename can filter tag types.
