SB3 remotes are notoriously easily broken. The "eye" that transmits the IR often breaks it's solder joint, especially if the remote has been dropped. Do you know where the sensor is on the SB3 unit? Also is the "light bulb" (led???) at the top of the remote supposed to visibly light up when a button is pushed, or is the light not visible due to being infra red? I'm trying to determine if the remote is the problem or the SB3. Thanks. The SB2 in my workshop did something similar. Solved by cleaning the front screen (inside and out). [slim] SB3 Setup Problems
I'm trying to bring an SB3 back online after 2 years or so. I get through one or two steps, and it stops responding to the remote. Tried factory reset, and got halfway through the password and it stopped responding. Any suggestions? Thanks.
