I get some sort of message from Windows (Vista) saying Jive has stopped working. I close the window and restart SqueezePlay and its fine for awhile. I haven't noticed any pattern yet as to why or when it crashes. Jeff, thanks for the response!!! lol Well, lo and behold, last night I installed the 4/1 nightly build on my home PC and problems gone! But I wasnt sure if Softsqueeze still had anything to do with it since I also installed the updated plugin for softsqueeze, ver 3.9b1 Well, today at work, I installed the 4/1 nightly build and it seems to be working fine. have not yet installed the updated version of softsqueeze here. So...Problem solved and apparently the CVS_build of softsqueeze had nothing to do with it. I have issues with it as well, sound cuts out with around 10 seconds left. That said. Squeezeplay is Beta and development has basically been put on hold, so there is nothing that can be done. Update #2: Downloaded the 3/31 Nightly build for the PC at work. Same result, the current song plays completely, starts to crossfade with itself and then plays again. Update: Downloaded the 3/31 nightly build of SqueezePlay for the Home PC. Same issue (30 secs then start over) plus at times it only plays anywhere from 1 to 10 secs of the song and then starts over. Also, after a few cycles, it stops completely. I have to restart playback for the cycle to begin again. Getting stranger & stranger. [slim] SqueezePlay - Plays only 30 secs or Repeats Song
I'm having 2 different issues with SqueezePlay on 2 different PCs. 1. PC at home - Windows Vista Platform, SqueezePlay ver. 3/26 nightly build. Plays current song for only 30 seconds then starts the song all over again. Plays 30 seconds again. Starts song over again. Repeats this cycle continuously. 2. PC at work - Windows XP Platform, SqueezePlay ver. 3/30 nightly build. Plays the 1st song (or any song selected for that matter) completely and then it repeats. It does not go to the next song in the playlist. The funny thing is, I even have Crossfade enabled and close to the end of the song, you can hear the song (current) fading in with itself! At first I thought this issue had to do with the 3/30 nightly build. As this first occurred at work after I went from the 3/26 nightly build to the 3/30 build. But of course, I then noticed the issue with my home PC. Although its a different problem with playback on SqueezePlay. The only other variable that changed on both PCs was I updated the version of Softsqueeze on both. I went from what was listed in the settings as ver. 3.7, to now what is listed as ver. CVS_BUILD. Anyone else having these issues with SqueezePlay?
