[slim] Squeezebox 2 Case
I have had different Squeezeboxes including the Transporter. But my first Squeezebox 2 is still amongst my favorite due to its low profile form factor. But for some reason the case has gone all sticky and gummy on me. I cannot find a replacement case in the Slim accessories store. I think your only chance will ne a second hand, perhaps a dead unit. Or you could contact Sales directly to see if they have any spares tucked away in the Santa Clara facility. I remember seeing some creative and handy people made their own case mods. I wonder if there are shops online that could do custom made cases? Thats always an option. Is this happening to just the black ones? I have one SB1 and two SB2's painted silver and they're all fine. I think you would need to sctip off the rest of the rubbery coating do this.
