[slim] Squeezebox 3/Classic questions

Hi folks, 
This is probably not the best place for this topic but I can't find a
specific section for Classic related subjects.

I had the issue where the firmware for SBS and mysqueezebox.com were
different and resulted in the player trying to update its firmware
everytime they were switched on. I updated the SBS on my Mac to 7.5.4,
which seemed to solve this problem. However the new issue is that when
the player is switched off it no longer displays the date and time when
connected to either SBS or mysqueezebox.com.

Also, it won't display RSS feeds when connected to SBS and also won't
scrobble songs through the last.fm scrobbler.

Can anybody help (and mods please move this somewhere more appropriate
if necessary)?

This is a fine sub-forum for the question. For the date and time,
double-check both the screensaver and the brightness settings for when
the SB3/Classic is off. They may have gotten un-set by accident when
you upgraded. You need to do this separately for SBS and mysb.com.

Same thing for RSS and scrobbling. On scrobbling remember that there is
both a global setting (under the Plugins tab if I remember correctly)
and a per-player setting under the players tab.
