[slim] Squeezebox Boom Help
I thought some of you might enjoy this story about how I was saved by the Boom. I've been laid low with the flu lately (could even be swine flu). Since I've been coughing so much, I've been banished to the spare room at night. The night before last, I got up at around 2am to go to the bathroom, only to find that the rod had slipped out of the door mechanism, so the handle on the inside wouldn't open the door. I was locked in the room. With no voice, I couldn't call out (it's down the hall, so may not have been heard anyway). I spent about 15 minutes trying to find a screwdriver or something to take off the door plate, but with no luck. Also, I had no phone in the room. I was starting to wonder whether I had any chance of getting out before the morning, when I realised that since the computers were in the spare room, there was a way out. I fired up a browser, turned on the Squeezebox Boom in the main bedroom and started it playing A Little Help From My Friends. Needless to say, my partner woke up. Initially, she just turned it off, but I kept turning it back on.
